Who can hurt the prince that commands the loyalty of advisers who do not hesitate to give unpleasant counsel and to point it out to him when he goes wrong? The prince who has not this priceless protection of advisers that have the courage to tell him when he goes wrong will find his ruin even if there be no enemies to attack him :
