Introduction
Mundesvari temple stands on the summit of an isolated hill about 603 feet high, at village Ramgarh, seven miles south-west of Bhabua, a sub-divisional
headquarters of Shahabad district. The township of Bhabua is about eight miles from Bhabua
Road railway station on the Grand Chord line of the Eastern Railway. Bhabua Road is
directly on the famous National Highway known as the Grand Trunk road.
The road from Bhabua Road railway station to Bhabua is a first-class, all- weather road
and passenger buses and tangas drawn by horses are available. Grand Trunk is one of the
best roads in India and so Bhabua is easily accessible by motor transport either from
Calcutta or Delhi side. The seven-mile road from Bhabua to Ramgarh is a fair-weather road.
Tangas are available at Bhabua.
