Temples and Legends of Andhra Pradesh Introduction

Tadpatri of Anantapur District is a railway station on the Raichur-Madras line and is 47 miles from Guntakal, which is an important junction on it. One can reach Tadpatri from Guntakal either by road or by train. There are two important and famous temples at this place, -namely, the Bugga Ramalingeswara temple and the Chintala Venkataramana temple. These are famous temples, famous both for their sanctity, as well as for their architectural importance.
