Prologue
The author's basic purpose in writing The Good Life sprang from his belief that the only life worth living is the goo life. Every one or nearly every one, is intrested in a good life; hence, it is a necessary as it is desirable to make inquiries into the various aspects of a truly good life. We take for granted such greetings as "Good morning" ,"Good afternoon", and " Good evening".
In other words, we do not usually think seriously about good when we utter the word. how good will it be, if we all truly know good, love good, and live a good life? This work in which the authorengages himself is literally for gooness' sake. The strongest and most indispensable instrument on which the author relies is none other than Good Will.
The author's work is meant to include everyone and to exclude none. His work is related to the past, aimed at the present, and intended for the future.
The author believes in the philosophy of the oneness of the universe and the unity of humanity, and the, and that unity is the goodness of man. The author believes there is goodness in every humna being anywhere on the face of the earth. Hence he works faithfully towards the goal of awakening that goodness in man and developing and cultivating to the fullest that goodness which is the real hope ofr all mankind as well as for each human being, be it in the eighteenth centure, the twentieth, or the thirtieth.
