Kali Dasa is one
of India’s greatest poets.
His most famous play
is Saakuntalam.
He wrote many other plays’ and poems, too. All of them
are in Sanskrit.
He lived many years ago. He was the court -poet of King
Vikramaditya who ruled at Ujjain. He was one of the "nine gems" of
Vikramaditya’s court.
