Yena tvayaa Bharatatailapurnah
prajvaalito jnanamayah pradipah.
Obeisance to thee, O Vyasa of great intellect, with eyes like the petals of a full-blown lotus; for, you have brightened the flame of knowledge by feeding it with the richness of Mahabharata.
