The news soon spread, and one who heard the news was much astonished. With the help of the villagers, these two people, AtchyutabhaktuduAnantabhaktudu, searched the entire hill track with an and other rites.
At last they found on the top of ill the spot where the
Lord had incarnated himself e shape of Siva and Kesava. With great joy, these two people performed Abhishekam to the Lord, with a tumbler of water, but to their astonishment they found that the tumbler became suddenly empty.
They then realised that it a miracle of the Lord, and when they further searched could find water in the vicinity from a tank by name Varahapushkarini and. performed the Abhishekam of the with that water.
From that day onwards Atchyutabhaktudu and Anantabhaktudu made arrangements for the daily conduct of worship the two lords, on the bill.
Thus Puja and worship carried on for several years
undisturbed, and in the part of the nineteenth century, the trusteeship was d on to the hands of the local zamindars that were devotees of Lord Sobhanachala.
