Though
religions are many, the Religion is only one. It is the Religion
of Man. Man is essentially divine and not a sinner. The goat of
all religions is to help him realize his inner divinity.
Hence the Hindu has no quarrel with
anybody. He concedes that there can be as many paths as there are
persons. Ultimately, every man has his own religion. What suits one
may not and need not suit another. That is why he shows a remarkable
spirit, not only of tolerance but even positive respect, towards
other faiths. What has gone on for thousands of years can go on for
thousands of years more.
