The Himalayas form
the northern boundary of our country. They are the King of mountains.
The world’s highest peaks are there. Kailasa is one of them. It is the
home of God Siva and of GoddessParvati.
Lake Manasarover is there. Swans play in that lake. The river Ganga flows from these
mountains.
Amarnath, Badrinath, Kedarnath, Pasupatinath and Gangotri are
on these mountains.
