The hare and The Tortoise Page1

There was a young hare. It was very proud of its speed in running. This hare had a tortoise as friend. The tortoise, as you know, walks very slowly. One day the hare asked his friend, "Shall we run a race?"

The tortoise was wise. He replied, "Why not?" The two started running. After running for a time the hare sat down on the way. It thought, "I can beat the tortoise any time!" It went to sleep.
