WHAT TO ADORE - WHERE AND HOW?

Descending down we go further towards east and see in a spacious shrine the bronze image of Lord Nataraja, and next to him a representation of Kalpa Vriksha. Praying devoutly, when we go further, we greet the excellent icons of Nayanmars installed on high dias. Adjoining to it, lies another big size Linga said to have been installed by Markandeya, who demonstrated to the world the unsurpassable potencey of Siva bhakthi that brought him immortality. Close to it lies the Kalabhairava sannidhi inside a niche, and Battala Bhairava outside it. And here are seen the Saptamatrukas icons facing west. They are superbly chesilled and appear grand. Taking a turn, when we move scuthwards, there are many lingas said to have been installed by holy sages, gods and kings. Among them the six grand Lingas arrest our attention and they, according to legend are installed by Shatchakravartis. There lofty size and glistening sheen justify the status of those illustrious emperors.
