There seems to be inadequate attention paid to them; for they are not properly
draped with some linen, atleast nor the minimum neatness is found around then.
At the end of the row, there is a crystal linga shining resplendent. Though it
is about a foot in height, by its sparkle it attracts and visitors. Pay homage
to it with burning camphor. Here lie the venerable Navalars' icons of Appar,
Sundarar and Manikya vachakar set up to the wall facing north. And next to it
facing north there are the adorable icons of the Spider, Adisesha and Kannappa.
Then comes a separate niche for a big size linga called Mrutyunjaya and it is
facing east. Now awaits the Dakshinamurti image which was seen on entering the
temple to be adored. It is an excellent icon of superb craftsmanship. Praying,
we again go in the northern direction to avail the Sikhara darsanam. For this we
have to ascend a few steps from the corridor and go to eastern side. There are
seen here in three separate mini-shrines, adorable lingas installed by
Chitragupta, Yamadharmaraja and Dharmaraja, all in one line facing east.
