It is desire.  It is anger.  It is born out of the principle of passion in nature, insatiable and all-polluting.  Know it as our enemy here on earth.

As smoke surrounds fire, as a mirror is covered over with dust, as the embryo is encased in the womb, the understanding is enveloped by this enemy.
