He told Gonai: "Mother, Vithal ate all the food I gave. See, the plate is empty!"

Gonai did not believe her son. She thought Namdeo had dropped the food onthe way.

She sent him again the next day to the Vithal temple with food.

The same thing happened on the second day too. Vithal ate up the food.

When Namdeo told this to his mother, she wanted to make sure about the truth of the report.

So on the third day, after sending Namdeo as usual to the temple, she followed him at a distance.

She saw for herself God Vithal eating the food from Nimdeo's hand!

When her husband returned, Gonai told him what she had seen.Both the father and the mother were convinced that Namdeo was no ordinary child.
