O Lord of the universe!

Impart, we beseech Thy refulgence,

Lustre to those of us devoted to learning and contemplation of Thee.

Bestow on our rulers amiability of disposition

On our commercial, agricultural, artistic and labour class light.

And enlighten me also with a ray of Thy splendour.
