being a warrior could not adopt the modem stratagem of entering from the back door.He
discarded the idea and went to Setu Bandhanam. The (idol is so to say the forlorn one
sitting at the road-side, always graceful to appease the thirst of people with a glass of
sweet water which is very rare at the sea-side.
The water seems to be a sign of the fulfillment of
desire, as Lord Rama's desire was fulfilled. It was in this kshetra that Sankara sang the
praise of Vinayaka in Ganesa Pancha Ratna Mala. |
