But pilgrims who go during Sarvadarshan timings have to come
invariably to this Vaikunta Queue Complex. It is a recently built two floored
huge building with 34 waiting halls, each accommodating more than
300 visitors. And there are very many facilities like T.V, toilets, drinking
water, both hot and cold drinks, papers etc., for it takes atleast 8 - 14 hours
waiting, but it is normal. Festival days take more than 20 hours. So I will'
meet you all at the Guest House after breakfast at 8 a.m. and then we will
proceed to Tiruchanur first, to get the blessings of Mother Padmavathi devi and
then only others in Tirupathi."
" Will Mr. Suresh
follow us for the Suprabhat darsan?"
"In
as much as tickets are brought there is no need for any one's guidance and more
over, I have shown the Vaikuntadwaram queue complex on our way to the Art
Museum. Any way, I will inform him to acquaint you with the time of barber's
coming to the Guest House. He will rather introduce that man in the Guest House
itself. So good evening."
" Good morning? Ah! what do I see here! you, with your
entire party seem to have offered hair to the Lord. What a surprise?"
" Yes
Mr. Moorthy, on listening to the significance of hair offering and the merit it
confers, my children voluntarily joined their grand pa and ma. Mr Menon seeing
us all tonsured, he too offered with his party."
"
Excellent chain reaction! I think we have to double up to shopping complex for
hats. Mind you, we must be too cautious in bargaining in the shops. The entire
merchant community fleeces the buyers without ramose, but peddlers are a little
better. Hence the caution."
