From the foregoing
accounts, it is clear that this Dakshina Kailas attracted and emancipated scores
of Saapagrasthas and duhkarthis right from the moment of Lord's taking seat here
after Pranava mantropadesa to Mother Parvathi. finding it congenial for other
wordly spiritual sadhana, many maharshis settled down here and carried on their
chosen activities uninterrupted by grace of Kailasadhipathi. Even after
obtaining Sivasayujya, Sivasannidhya, Sivaloka etc., in accordance with their
desires the places of their habitation and penance are still generating bhakti
instincts for conferring bliss. Realising the immense potentialities, many
god-men have built asrams in this century for dissemination spiritual knowledge.
Such hermitages are attracting the devout even today. The founders have been
continuing the devotional activities through immortal books they authored. Their
services defy description, for not only the visitors, but those living far far
away are benefited by the wisdom they enshrined in their works.
