The Temple Complex

The main temple is spacious with two sturdy prakaras and four imposing entrances on four sides, surmounting majestic towers adorned with fascinating sculptural images of high divinities. 

The main entrance faces west and has a high tower beautified with masterly made images. Entering through this mahadwar as you proceed, of course in queue, you reach Paravel mandapam and it is very vast with many grand sculptural pieces that greet our eyes and lift the souls. Next comes Mahamandapam which is equally majestic and justifies its name. While moving further the enchanting image of Dandayudhapani gleams into your sight installed on a high dias in the garbha griha.
