MANTRALAYA
- MANCHALAMMA TEMPLE |
|
This
is a small mandir, but all the more very great, since the Swamiji's commandment
of agra puja to be offered to this deity invariably is honoured by all even to
day. Long queue of pious bhaktas with trayful of pooja materials in their sands
are seen from dawn to late night. The archamurti is made of black granite and is
in standing posture. The shrine faces east. Simplicity coupled with sublimity
fills the souls of the visitors. Agamic puja is conducted with relevant hymns.
After eyeful darsan and receiving benign blessings of the Mother, devotees enter
the Brindavan complex.
It is about 10 kms of Mantralayam railway Road Station on Guntakal - Hyderabad
broad guage line, accessible by bus.
