PUJAS AND FESTIVALS:

Beside the daily poojas, some occasional poojas are performed and they are called Gudi Padva in Chaitra masa, Shriral Shasti in Shravan, Lalitha panchami in Ashvin, Bali Pratipada in Kartika, Makara Sankranti in Pausha and Rathasaptami in Magha. And they are exceedingly grand Among festivals, Navaratri is celebrated with great saplendour. Thousands of persons participate in them jubilantly spending huge sums of money on decoration etc. The Vijayadasami day during Navartri is the biggest draw and the whole campus reverberating with music goes up to the worlds above. And the illumination makes the Sahyadri hills exceeding that of the Rajita Parvatha of Lord Siva.

It lies towards the east of the pilgrim town accessible by walk from bus stand.
