Uniqueness of Aakasamurti Kshetra

Say Childambaram and look !  There emerges then on the mental screen the rhythmic foot work and graceful movements of that cosmic dancer Nataraja, lost in the demonstration of Bhujanga Trasa to the accompaniment of orchestral music to serve a royal banquet to the ears and eyes of the viewers, from his favourite seat of Chitsabha of Chidambaram temple.  Holy is the sight!  Holier is the feat!!  Holiest is the seat !!!  And the most holiest is that expert !!!! This chidambaram thus emerged occupies the most conspicuous place in legends, as the seat of cosmic dance from time immemorial, in addition, this divya kshetra enshrines the much-venerated Aakaasalinga, one of the five exalted Bhuta lingas, and this Aakaasamurti of Lord is worshipped with utmost reverence over ages.
