There is a Navagraha mandap to
his left and images of serpents and Devi in front under a tree. It has
Pradakshina path and a well for washing purposes. Regular prayers are
offered with great veneration. In another temple of the same name on the bank
of Pushkarini of Govindaraja Swamy Temple too great number of devotees
visit daily in addition to yatris, who bathing in Pushkarini offer first prayers
to the Agra devatha. In the recently renovated temple in the Chintakayala
street, regular agamic worship is offered, and there is great rush in the
mornings and evenings. These independent separate Vinayaka shrines are
conducting periodical festivals each on a grand scale befitting the
internationally reputed yatrasthala.
All these can be
reached by cycle rickshaw or auto from bus stand or railway station of Tirupathi
town, the internationally famous pilgrim town of Andhra Pradesh.
