Gradually with the steady increase of visiting devotees
crossing thousands, many philanthropists entered the arena and raised the glory
of the divinities with the construction and expansion of the temple in several
ways. Credit goes to Kulavis, who at the instance of pious priests and under the
supervision of wealthy Prabhus enhanced the reputation' of the temple. Later
some Mathadhipathis, like H.H. Sudhindra Thirtha Swamiji guided the theist
Kulavis to expand the temple in all directions. With the impetus, given by the
trustees, the temple is now perching at the highest place, drawing attention of
devotees living in the far off places. As the showering of boons increased day
by day, its pre-eminence is luring devotees in unending streams. Nityanaimithika
worship is offered with great devotional zeal. It is now a well established
shrine of great spiritual significance.
It
lies in Shirali, the up-coming town of North Canara of Karnataka, commanding
transport conveyance from several of its neighbouring towns.
