NORTH SENNIMALAI - KANDAPERUMAN TEMPLE

Although it is called Sennimalai, it lies to the north of Kumaran temple located in Erode district. Hence aptly named North Sennimalai. This is lying between Salem and Vriddhachalam rail route, accessible by train from Kattukottai station. This is an ancient temple reputed to be exceedingly sacred by orthodox people, who visit this after fasting. According to them, the deity is most pleased with the observance of vratas and strict performance of ritualistic worship. New moon and Karthika Nakshatra days art, quite efficacious to adore this Moolavar.  Lord Kanda Peruman, if pleased with strict austerities, blesses the devotees and fulfil their desires to their heart's content. This is a small temple possessing mandaps installed with adorable deities.

It can be reached by bus from Vriddhachalam or Salem, the famous towns of Tamilnadu.
