In the Suryanarayana swamy temple, nithyanaimithika worship is offered according to agamic tenets. The annual festival celebrated during Magha masa attracts huge crowds and many special items find place in the celebrations. In other temples like Narasimhaswamy, Jogulamba, Papanatha etc. Periodical festivals are carried on with great pomp and splendour. As it is very near to the world famous Srisailam, pilgrims are visiting in large numbers either on their way up to Srisailam or on their return trip. Yet all the temples need renovation.
