OUR NATIONAL FLAG

You have all seen our National Flag. It has three colour bands: saffron at the top, dark -green at the bottom and white in between.
The circle you see on the white band is the Asoka Dharma Chakra.   It shows that Dharma is our motto. Our country follows Ashoka's teachings.

Asoka’s was a great Emperor of India. He
loved peace and justice. We want peace and friendship with all countries. We want justice done to all.  Our National Flag flutters on Government buildings. On Republic Day and Independence Day, it flies merrily everywhere.
