| The idol of the
Sun-God has a majestic beauty. There are many other fine sculptures in the temple. Men, animals and trees are beautifully cut in stone. The chariot wheels of the Sun-God are of huge proportion. They are nearly ten feet in diameter and eight inches thick. Each stone wheel has eight spokes. You should not miss a chance to visit this temple. It is the finest specimen of Kalinga art. |
