Bhima became
angry.
He said to the monkey: "Will you make way or not? I am Bhima, the Pandava Prince. I
am born of Vayu, and Hanuman is my elder brother. I want to get the stem of the
Saugandhika flower for Draupadi. Get out my way, or you will be in trouble." The monkey smiled and said: "I have told you I cannot move. If
you like, you can jump over me."
Bhima said: "I wish I could jump as the great Hanuman
jumped across the ocean. But the Sastras say you should not jump over the body of a living
being!
The monkey smiled again and said: "If you think so,
you can just push aside my tail and cross over." |
