| Later on,
Gandhi held Gokhale as his political Guru. As a result of unceasing political activity,
Gokhale’s health broke down and he passed away in 1915. The whole country mourned his death.
Gokhale was a great patriot. Throughout his life, he worked hard for the uplift of our
country with a sense of duty.
He never cared for wealth or fame.
Although he was of a gentle nature, he acted bravely according to his best lights.
He had a silver tongue and he believed in hard work and action.
He was a Karma Yogi. |
