| Bhojraj became
very angry. He could not think of himself bringing a bad name to the Chitor family. He whipped out his sword and ran to Mira's apartments to kill her. Fortunately she was not there. He rushed to the temple. The door was bolted from inside. He broke it open and saw Mira sitting alone before the little Krishna idol lost in conversation with it. She did not at all see or hear her husband enter the temple with drawn sword. Bhojraj shook her by the shoulder and commanded: "With whom are you talking?" |
