poet indignantly asks: Ah Rudra! Lord! Thy wrath reduced to ashes The graceless demons of yore; Thou did’st then overspread the earth with Dharma; The power which oppress'd the gods, Thou did'st shatter. As the wind bloweth away the chaff Thou did'st put to flight The wicked demon Tripura. Oh Destroyer, I, Padmanabha, ask Thee, Where is the mighty trident of Thin? |
