Padmanabha,
the author of Kanhadade-prabandha, has given a detailed description of the invasion of
Gujarat by Alla-ud-din's generals. Alla-ud-din wanted
to bribe the Chahamana Kanhadade of Jhalor to let him pass through his country; he
