Sumana. Asoka owes his victory to Radhaguputa, who remained loyal to him till the end by lending his
strength and standing whole - heartedly. His success was anxiously awaited by all sections of
people and grandly celebrated throughout the length and breadth of his vast empire.
India, that is Bharat, was atleast
blessed with a monarch of remarkable ability and unparalleled achievements in every field
of human activity. History of mankind recorded not any similar in any part
of this World. And in any TENSE too.
Asoka ascended the throne in 273
B.C. And the event was commemorated with much fanfare and unprecedented pomp and
splendour.
