KEDARNATH TEMPLE - KEDARASWAMY DARSAN FOR HUMANS

Bhagawan Paramasiva, the Lord of Kailas abids at Kedar to give darsan for six long full months for humans, and the other for devas. His compassion is matchless and peerless Out of immense vatsalya over flowing his amritahridaya he set apart  half-a-year for mankind, during summer and rainy seasons knowing that tile biting cold and freezing enervating atmosphere will impair the health of his votaries, in the rest of the period. The devas are inmune to climatic conditions. Fed on amrit , their bodies can withstand any stress and strain during, any season. A wise decision and commendable measure. A superbly ordained tradition.

So the authorities of the Kedarnath temple close the doors of the temple for six months to allowing devas worship then. Although Siva is a by ward for mercy, he does not allow relaxation or defiance. It is a divine law made and it is for implementation only but not for breaking by any at any time. Which once ordained it runs its course for ever and encircles all without exception, however highly placed they are. Once Pandavas desired to worship during the period meant for gods.
