Now
it is the turn for the cows to be fascinated by the extraordinary beauty of the
bull, and riveted their broad eyes on it, forgetting grazing even. This went on
for some time. Later, the newly born calves, bore striking resemblances to the
stone bull at the temple. People realised their folly. Sure, whatever the object
the pregnant women fancy for, or concentrate their attention during their
pregnancy, the offspring's partake its qualities and shape. It is the same bull
the visitors see and worship before offering prayers to the principal deities.
Does
this not testify to the truth scientific? This fact silences the voluble tongue
of the atheist, but joins the palms of theists in recognition of the infinite
powers of that Parameswar.
Location
: The temple lies in Trissur, accessible by four wheelers from Palghat,
