Weren't you robbing them whenever brought to school by the lowly like me 
And how forcefully you used to twist my hand to pour all into thy' palm 
In exchange, of course, for the tantalising dishes sent by ¹³Yasoda mom 
You were teasing me crunching at my ears, please repeat it now to me.

Untying the; bundle anon Krishna thrust a huge chunk of the present
In to the very mouth that revealed to Yasoda mata the fourteen worlds
And started crunching near ¹⁴Sudama's ears as asked to keep-him jubilant
To the wonderment of his ¹⁵astamahishis and the people of all the worlds

While raising, first for third time, Rukmini His first wife, stopped Ham
Lest the whole wealth and glory of ,Dwaraka would flee to reach Sudhama
As a result of her Lord's return for humble yet unique gift of Sudhama
Making desolation and destitution reign in Dwaraka enjoying to their brim

Back home after a week's memorable stay with Krishna. his companion Sudhama found a matamorphosis both in dwelling and Iife's companion 
Wealth was replaced by poverty,¹⁶samtipti by ¹⁷dhukha and joys by cries 
All but to krishna's generous return for a handful of parched rice.
