Wisdom and knowledge are not one and the same; they differ both in content and effect. Ignorance mistakes one for the other and ventures, where angels fear to tread, and comes out bearing the marks of folly. Wisdom being serene, cool and dignified, smiles and shines; and readily shares its fruits to all alike, whereas knowledge being hot and hasty, ever perturbed and never settled ends in frets and regrets.

Knowledge though covetable is not an end in itself; it is incomplete and immature but wisdom being mellowed and fully evolved achieves monumental victory in all its endeavours undertaken at its option, or under compulsion. This is true here on earth, or there in heaven. Many are the instances, where reliance an knowledge ended in woe. Shanmuga the Gnana pandit supposed to be exercising monopoly over knowledge courted a failure, inspite of it, where as Vinayak, without it got immortality.
