THE
DHARMA GIRI |
|
Now proceed to Dharmagiri to listen to the sonorous chanting of Vedic hymns by
students studying in the gurukulam established by TTD. This hill top called
Dharmagiri is adorned with a high pedestal on which Brahma is sitting with four
sages at the corners representing four vedas. It recalls to our minds the parnasalas of ancient days reverberating with vedaghosha and
munikulam engaged in spiritual activities. This sublime sequestered place in
only 2 k.m. off the main temple and can be approached by walking or automobiles.
