SILATHORANAM

" Here is that great and much published granite festoon. Silathoranam resembling an arch with a span of 25 feet and 10 feet in height from the ground level. According to a section of opinion,  it has been existing for millions of years now, but ironically it was recognised recently in the nineties. This rare spectacle - a formation of stones by natural geological process is quite awesome and attracting literates and illiterates alike. Some staunch religionists are of the opinion that Lord Balaji descended on the hill at this point and reached the garbhagrha passing though this. By its queerness and association with Highest
Divinity, it raises our hands in veneration.
