BATTINAYYAKONA

There is another holy place called Battinayyakona in the midst of forest lying at a distance of 20 km to Kalahasti. The natural cave temple affords spiritual sadhana to the highly evolved souls. The temple's presiding deity is one holy Battinayya, who did penance here. Every Monday special ritualistic worship is offered and people visit regularly, lured by the divinity pervading the place.
