No genuine repentance ever went unrewarded, nor
expression of pious desire remained unfulfilled. For, it is this holy
land alone that grants Sakshat Siva Sayujya of the 105 Saiva
kshetras scattered all over the Jambudvipa; and it is the
Srimaddhakshina Kailas
that annihilates agnana - Pasupravirthi in man, and lights up the Vignanajyothi;
it is in this Sivaanandaika Nilayam, the much-adored Vayulinga bearing the
imprints of a spider, serpent and an elephant who worshipped ardently, and the
adorers are liberated to their souls' contentment; it is this archamurthi that
received adoration by Arjuna among the Pandavas; and Appar, Sambandar, Manikya
Vachakar, Sundarar among the Alwars; and it is here Sri Sankara Bhagavatpada
installed a chakram in the Mother's mandir; it is this presiding deity that
blessed the adorers with fulfillment of desires, like power of creation to
Brahma; the highest tapassakti to Agasthya, who changed the course of
Swarnamukhi to flowing near the temple; the Siva Panchakshari to Parvathi that
changed her into Gnanaprasunambika; liberation to a paisacha, when the Lord
uttered the Pranavamantra in her right ear; power of speech to Mooka;
