Kanakadurgeswari seated atop the Indrakilaparvatha at Vijayawada is
the supreme Goddess of Andhra Pradesh, and the Durga Malleswara
Swamy Aalayam, he is enshrined therein, is one of the premier
shrines of our Punya Bharat, attracting lakhs of theists and
tourists since time immemorial. The Indrakila parvatha consecrated
by the Mata Kanakadurga and doused by Pavana Krishnavem occupies a
covetable place in the scriptures; for, several of the Sivalilas and
