Bhaskaracharya
presiding over all the ceremonies directed the couple to christen the girl child
- Vasavamba, an apt name, since a glittering yellow golden tinge permeating her
enchanting person was feasting the eyes of the viewers, and Virupaksha for the
baby boy; for, there seemed majestic sublimity exuding from his dignified
complexion as that of Lord Maheswar.
Soon
soon after their emergence into this world, the divine girl showed ho,
real identity to the noble couple - she was; Mother Parvathi in human form and
so appeared with four hands, holding lotus, pasa, veena and parrot in her hands
and draped in resplendent dress and dazzling jewels with a diamond crown on
head. Could the joy of the parents and people be clothed in the diction of any
literary genre? Bliss overflowed in and out of the palace.
