joy reached the. point of satiation at the eye filling sights of
huge groups of students discussing their dialectical problems in one
corner; gay youth in jubilant mood chit-chatting over the cultural
engagements they had participated in another corner; a small knot of
gray haired persons explaining theological matters, sitting aloof at
the edge of the fence, and huge numbers of budding urchins in
assorted groups playing several games in the play-ground part of the
garden and a few booklovers browsing over the latest books adjacent.
Observing the scenes to his heart's content and voicing exuberant
comments to the followers, he moved along the zigzag paths, edged by
charming flower plants.
