STOCK-TAKING

Today is Sunday-a holiday. And a holy day too. For, it is the time set apart for rest and recreation first, and prayer and resolution next. Being a day of cessation from work, it empowers us to recoup what is lost by toil during the week. Rest coupled with recreation ensures this. 

Besides, it enables us to look leisurely for recalling to our memory, the strums we y have weathered, and the wisdom gained thereby. Retrospection thus results in recapitulation, facilitating us to accelerate our efforts to replenish the stuff exhausted. We definitely grow wiser, if the stock-taking is done periodically and systematically too. Striking the balance-sheet follows stock-taking, as natural as day following night. This fixes the line of action to be pursued after overhauling the engine of action.
