MATA VAISHNODEVI MANDIR The Goddess of Trikuta parvat

Next comes Banaganga - a small stream created by the MOTHER for bathing purpose. After dip, they visit Charan Paduka shrine. It is here the MOTHER halted for a while to see whether that danawa was still pursuing. Her foot prints embossed on stone are worshipped here. So halt-worthy. Next halt is at Adhukunwari, where Vaishnodevi meditated in a cave to escaping from the Bhairon. Al the end, she used her Trisul to gorging a new route for her farther march. Though this is a narrow passage, some 'pilgrims go crawling, despite having another way to reach the BHAWAN - the main shrine - the destination after an arduous journey of 14 kms covered in about 6 hours.
