Finally,
I close this part with offering of my genuine circumambulations to
the Triple Deities - Mother Sarada, Balaji and Srikanteswar around
whom my soul has been revolving like the Earth round the Moon for
all they have been doing to shape me as a writer of temple books.
But for their grace, neither my pen could have moved, nor earned for
me the name of the first and only the single writer of 20 books on
temples of India. In English.
About 1200 write ups of the most
ancient, sacred, largely-visited, infinitely-praised, and
indescribably popular temples have been completed in twenty books
and five more books comprising 100 odd temples are in the process. A
Herculean task and an achievement of no mean distinction against the
background of inadequate literature in any language to be frank
with? If I accomplished it with meager source material, and little
scholarship unidentifiable even with the most powerful lens of
microscope, it is all due to the boundless mercy of the Triple
deities only.
