This temple's chariot popularly known as Thanga Ratham drawn at nights in the outer spacious prakara holds irresistible attraction for every visitor. The chariot is about 15 feet in height and is tastefully decorated that enhances the resplendent beauty of the deity seated in it.

The electrical illumination and the exquisitely carved images on the pillars around, and atop the, seat of Utsavamurti affectionately called Chinnakumara offer a rich feast to the eyes.  The instrumental music and recitation of holy chants and hymns by the specially trained temple staff as it goes round send thrills in the spines of the beholders.
