KADIRI - LAKSHMI DEVI TEMPLE

She is Chaturbhuja Mahalakshmi in sitting posture holding lotus blooms in two hands and the other two revealing Abhaya and Varada mudras. There is a tunnel inside said to be extending up to the far off hills. The temple tank is very big in size, and yatris are using it for holy bath. Agamic puja is offered with elaborate rituals.

Kadiri has bus and train facilities and it is the taluq head quarters of Anantapur District of Andhra Pradesh.
